Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month: Meeting Elaine Chao, U.S. Secretary of Transportation

Dr. Yuhsien Wu meeting Secretary of Transportation, Elaine Chao

Secretary Elaine L. Chao, the first Asian American woman to be appointed to the President's cabinet in American history, is currently serving in her second cabinet position as the U.S. Secretary of Transportation.

In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPIH) Secretary Chao sat down with Secretary of Commerce, Wilbur Ross, to provide some insightful comments for entrepreneurs during a Fireside Chat.

Dr. Yuhsien Wu was honored by the opportunity to meet a strong Asian role model while gaining new insights from these two incredible individuals.

We are grateful to shine light on a strong woman, not only in the AAPI community, but in our society as a whole. Her example fuels us with inspiration to always strive for the best, no matter the circumstances we may rise from.
