Effective Communication Habits Through Writing, Reading, and Presentation
Time: 1:45 - 3:15 pm
A class that promotes "whole student" and deep thinking:
How do we read critically and write effectively? How can we utilize our communication skills to gain the competitive edge?
These are just a few things students will harness in this unique class. Through academic reading, writing, and presentation practice, students learn how to both discover and sharpen these skills.
With college essay/application in mind, the class also aims to foster students’ critical reading, descriptive writing, and engaging presentation skills.
Class topics are designed with the goal to develop a mature young adult and include: Leadership Development, Impression Management, Deep Thinking/Self-Reflection, Grammar, Descriptive Writing, Close Reading, Personality Dimensions, and Presentation Skills.
