AP Calculus

Service Description

This course covers the material that will be tested in the College Board’s AP Calculus AB test as well as instruction for the AP Calculus BC test for more advanced learners. AP Calculus focuses on the concepts of both differential and integral calculus with a heavier focus on differential calculus than integral. The course also expects students to use these concepts to solve problems. Finally, students will be expected to justify reasoning and solutions for these problems. Our instructor will explain these concepts to students and give them the opportunity to practice these skills both in class with immediate feedback as well as through graded homework assignments. Finally, we will also teach testing strategies with a focus towards making the most of the knowledge students have obtained and strategic question selection during the test. This course is capable of serving the needs of students with differing understandings of calculus so long as they are past a Pre-Calculus level and have already been introduced to the concepts involved. In this class, our instructor aims to challenge students while helping them build a strong math foundation. The goal is also to make math fun and applicable for students.
