Jiachen Sun

Hi! My name is Jiachen Sun and I'm a junior at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania. I’m the president here at Wuz Up. Even though I was born in Beijing, China, I grew up in the United States. I’ve gone to school in both countries, so I have some knowledge about the two places. I would like to use this knowledge to help fellow Chinese students to adjust to life and school in the states.

Isabella Wu

Hi! My name is Tianyi Wu and you can call me Isabella. I am a freshman at Langley High School in Virginia. My family moved to the United States in 2016 and this is my second year in the US. Growing up in Beijing, I went to schools in both countries. As a result, I am familiar with both cultures and know the difficulties one might meet as a new immigrant. I would love to use my experience to help more international students to adjust to their new school.

Zhiyu Zhu

Hi, my name is Zhiyu Zhu, or you can call me Apollo since that’s easier for my classmates at Oakton High School. Having lived in China for 14 years, I find it quite interesting to learn about the American culture. My interest is in Computer Science (more commonly known as programming) and is currently taking many online courses to have a better understanding of this subject.

Qinyuan Jiang

Hello! My name is Qinyuan Jiang and I am currently a senior at Oakton High School. I was born in Hangzhou, China. After living in my hometown for 10 years, I moved to the United States and have been living in the States since. From my experience in both countries, I have gained a better understanding of the differences in culture two countries can have. Through my knowledge, I hope to help others who are new to the country get accustomed to the new living style.

Chang Yu

Hey! My name is Chang Yu and I am a junior at Winston Churchill High School in Maryland.  I am the Associate Director of Marketing here at Wuz Up. I was born in Jiangsu, China and I have lived in the US for a year. I would love to help more Chinese international students, but also explore more about myself in the process.

Michael Ma

My name is Michael Ma and I am junior at the Avalon School in Maryland. I am an international student from China. I’m Vice President of Marketing at AAA. I came to United States in 2014. My time here has led me to understand the difference between Chinese and American culture. I would like to use my knowledge and passion to help students adjust to the American environment.

Will Yang

Hi, my name is Will. I am a freshman at Langley High School in Mclean VA. This is my fourth year in the US, and I was born in Beijing, China. In this case, I get in touch with both cultures in some way. As an immigrant, I have been through the struggles that one could undergo to live in the US, and I would love to share my experiences as a reference to all the Chinese fellow. I might not be able to provide any or little academic help unlike other students in the group. However, I have a fresh start in High School just like most of the incoming families. In the process, I might also find a clear pass for the future.

Kevin Wang

Hi, my name is Kevin Wang. I am a junior in Mile high academy, a Christian high school located in Denver, Colorado. I live with my host family as my parents are back in China. Having such a special homestay relation is a unique experience in life. So, I think it is important to learn how to get along with host families and how this relationship can make you become a better person.
