We’re excited to proctor the AMC 8, AMC 10 and AMC 12 during the 2022-2023 school year as a way to serve our community. All sessions will take place in person and participants will be required to bring their own laptops for the competition.

We will have 2 locations:

AMC 10/12 B: 11/14/2022

AMC 8 Exam Description:

The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers. Students apply classroom skills to unique problem-solving challenges in a low-stress and friendly environment. The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. The material covered on the AMC 8 includes topics from a typical middle school mathematics curriculum.

AMC 10/12 Exam Description:

One of the first exams in the series of exams used to challenge bright students, grades 10/12 and below, on the path toward choosing the team that represents the United States at the International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). Students outside the US are also welcome to participate, although they are not eligible to win a spot on the American team for the IMO. The test is a 25 question, 75 minute multiple choice test. Problems generally increase in difficulty as the exam progresses. Calculators are not permitted for use. Students are free to sign up for either the A or B session, or both.

AIME Qualifiers:

Individual results are shared through email. If you are qualified for AIME, you will recieve an email. To participate, please register through your AoPS portal.
